If you are completely new to Ashtanga Yoga, or you’re interested in refining the foundations, this course is for you! Learn the core basics of Ashtanga yoga under Monica’s compassionate and knowledgeable guidance.
You will be introduced to the primary series by breaking down the movement mechanics and heathy alignment, learn the basic ideas of the philosophy upon which this practice rests, understand the breathwork with supports the asana practice and one pointed concentration, understand the purpose of this practice and how to come to your mat with curiosity, awareness and depth.
After this course, you will be prepared to join a Guided Ashtanga class or a Mysore Style program for the traditional method of practicing Ashtanga Yoga.
