The Practice Retreat For Curious Practitioners In Italy

  • Salento 116 Via Stazione Zollino, Puglia, 73010 Italy (map)

More Than a Yoga Retreat

The Practice Retreat is designed for people who want to deepen their yoga practice—not by doing more, but by understanding more.

This is not a teacher training, and it's not simply a yoga holiday. It's an immersive week for curious practitioners who want to explore the relationship between movement, breath and mindful practice in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Throughout the week, you'll experience a carefully curated journey that combines daily Morning Practice with three in-depth Practice Labs. Each session builds on the last, allowing you to develop not only your physical practice, but also your understanding of why we practise the way we do.

Whether you've been practising for one year or twenty, you'll leave with greater confidence, a deeper connection to your body and breath, and practical tools that will continue to support your practice long after you return home.

Alongside the learning, there is plenty of time to enjoy everything that makes Salento so special. Swim in the sea, relax by the pool, explore beautiful local towns, enjoy incredible Italian food and embrace the slower rhythm of retreat life.

Because the best retreats don't simply help you switch off—they help you return home inspired.

Each day begins with breathwork and Mysore class with Katy where she will guide you through the traditional way in which Ashtanga yoga is practiced. Afternoons are dedicated to reset and recovery, featuring a LSD ( Long, slow & deep) class, mindfulness meditation, and Yoga Nidra.

Indulge in wholesome, locally sourced meals that nourish both body and soul, and take time to explore the enchanting surroundings, from olive groves to mountain trails. Whether you’re an experienced yogi or a beginner, this retreat promises a supportive community and an enriching experience that encourages self-discovery and relaxation.

Join us for an unforgettable journey of self-exploration and renewal in the heart of Andalusia.

Daily Rhythm

08:00 – 10:00: Morning Practice

Each morning begins with a carefully designed practice that combines:

  • Meditation

  • Breathwork

  • Intelligent Vinyasa

Rather than six individual yoga classes, the morning sessions unfold as one continuous journey. Each practice builds progressively throughout the week, allowing you to deepen your understanding, refine your movement and develop a sustainable, intelligent approach to yoga.

10:00 Breakfast

11:00 onwards Time to Explore

The rest of the day is yours.

Relax by the pool, spend the afternoon at the beach, wander through the local villages, enjoy a long lunch, book a massage or simply take time to rest and recharge.

Afternoon Practice Labs

On Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday, we'll come back together for our signature Practice Labs—immersive workshops designed to explore the principles behind a lifelong yoga practice.

Dinner Together

Each evening we'll enjoy dinner together before you are free to spend the rest of the evening however you choose, whether that's an early night, a stroll through town or a glass of wine under the Italian sky.

  • Moving with greater intention

Friday — Integration

Your Practice

Our final practice brings the week's learning together.

Who Is This Retreat For?

The Practice Retreat is for curious practitioners who want to deepen their understanding of yoga in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Whether you practise simply because you love yoga, you're looking to refresh your approach, or you're a teacher seeking new inspiration, this retreat offers space to learn, explore and grow.

Perfect for:

  • Regular yoga practitioners

  • Yoga teachers

  • Movement professionals

  • Curious learners

  • Anyone who enjoys asking "why?" as much as "how?"

You don't need to be advanced.

You simply need a willingness to learn, explore and enjoy the process.

What You'll Leave With

By the end of the week you'll return home with:

  • A stronger, more sustainable yoga practice

  • A deeper understanding of movement and anatomy

  • Practical breathwork tools for everyday life

  • Greater confidence in your body

  • A clearer understanding of how to continue progressing

  • Fresh inspiration for your practice

  • Meaningful connections with a wonderful community

More than anything, you'll leave with the confidence to practise with greater awareness, curiosity and intention.

Because the goal isn't to do the most advanced pose.

It's to build a practice that continues to support you for a lifetime.

The Location

How to get there

Nestled in the heart of Salento, on the enchanting peninsula that forms the "heel" of Italy in southern Puglia, Agricola Samadhi offers a peaceful countryside retreat just a few kilometres from the beautiful Baroque city of Lecce. Ideally positioned between the Ionian Sea and the Adriatic Sea, it provides the perfect base for exploring the stunning coastline, historic towns, and natural beauty of the region.

By Air

Agricola Samadhi is easily accessible from two international airports:

  • Brindisi Airport (BDS) – approximately 50 km away (around 50 minutes by car)

  • Bari Airport (BRI) – approximately 180 km away (around 2 hours by car)

Both airports offer a wide range of international and low-cost flights throughout the year.

By Train

The agriturismo is just a short walk from Zollino Railway Station, served by the Ferrovie del Sud Est regional rail network. This makes it easy to explore Salento by train, whether you're arriving without a car or planning day trips around the region.

International Travel

If you're travelling from outside Europe, you can fly into Rome or Milan, both of which offer excellent onward connections to Brindisi and Bari by domestic flight or train.
